Pre-Market
The S&P 500 is 0.37% higher in premarket trading. German stocks continue on a positive footing, the DAX rises 0.73%. Financial stocks are the largest gainers, Deutsche Bank rises 6.03% and Commerz Commerzbank gains 5.09%. Siemens announced its yearly results, which gained investor approval. The successful restructuring of the company proceeds to plan. CEO Jo Käser announced that Siemens` medical arm will be floated on the market, this part of the company being very profitable. Siemens rises 4.4% to a ten year high. Continental drops 4.35% on weaker numbers. In US markets the next Fed meeting starts to become the next focus after the elections. Discussions have risen whether interest rates will rise in the face of future economic policy. The USD and Gold trend higher. WTI Oil is unchanged.
