Pre Market:

The S&P 500 trends lower at -0.33%. The DAX losses 1.23% on this options expiry day. Largest losing stock is Deutsche Bank, dropping 8.6% on the day as US authorities are demanding 14 billion USD. This demand from the Department of Justice is another blow for this crisis plagued bank. The demand is for losses occurred during the 2008 crisis, where many investors lost large amounts of money with mortgage backed bonds, as the real estate market crashed. US Consumer Prices rose 0.2% against expectations of +0.1. The market reacted positively, US futures rising. The USD has gained 0.6% on the Euro. Gold trades down and WTI Oil drops 2.3%.
